چکیده
This paper presents a software architecture for Unmanned aerial system Traffic Management (UTM). The work is framed within the U-space ecosystem, which European initiative UTM in civil airspace. We propose that focuses on providing required services automated decision-making during real-time threat management and conflict resolution, main gap current solutions. Nonetheless, our follows an open-source design modular flexible enough to accommodate additional future developments. In its implementation, solution capable of tracking operations monitoring airspace real time, order perform in-flight emergency tactical deconfliction. show experimental results demonstrate working realistic simulation setup. For that, we performed tests with operators aircraft located at remote locations consequent communication issues, showcased was managing time conflicting events two different use cases.

In-Flight Contingency Management for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
Contingency analysis and reaction is a critical task to be carried out by any airplane to guarantee its safe operation in a non-segregated airspace. Pilot’s reactions to any kind of incidences that may occur in-flight, like engine malfunctions, loss of electrical power, hydraulic failure, unexpected weather, etc, will determine the fate of the flight. Nowadays, contingency reactions are mainly ...

Flight dispatching is the set of tasks related to flight preparation, such as load and balance, meteorology study and briefing, operational flight planning, contingency analysis and planning, etc. The flight dispatcher must be in close contact with the pilot in command in order to verify that the airplane is airworthy, furnishing all kinds of information needed to properly operate the system. T...
متن کاملA Formal Approach to Reactive System Design: Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Flight Management System Design Example
This paper presents a formal methodology for the design, implementation and validation of reactive systems. The methodology has been applied to the design of a Flight Management Systems (FMS) for a model helicopter in the BEAR project[9]. POLIS[2], a design tool developed at the University of California at Berkeley, is extensively used. The automation of the design problem and the validation te...
متن کاملNonlinear Flight Control Techniques for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
In order to meet increasing demands on performance and reliability of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, nonlinear and adaptive control techniques are often utilized. These techniques are actively being studied to handle nonlinear aerodynamic and kinematic effects, actuator saturations and rate limitations, modeling uncertainty, and time varying dynamics. This chapter presents an overview of some tools ...
متن کاملLinear Flight Control Techniques for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
This chapter presents an overview of linear flight control and guidance methods for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). The chapter begins with a discussion of rotation matrices and kinematic equations of a UAV. The six-degree of freedom UAV equations of motion are also derived using rigid body dynamics principles. The equations of motion are then linearized and several linear multi-loop closure t...
